Patrol Leaders must hold a Patrol Meeting prior to this trip to prepare a list of activities desired by the Patrol, to be presented during our planning sessions. You may want to print out last year's activities from the Events webpage to use as a guideline. The District Calendar planner and Scouting magazine issues may also provide some good ideas.
Scouts other than those currently serving as Patrol or Asst. Patrol Leaders may attend the training session with the approval of the Scoutmaster.
Patrol Leaders & Asst. Patrol Leaders must attend this training. The training will be from 8:30 to 5:00 on Saturday. Attendance other that the training is not required, however you must have someone from your Patrol present your activity ideas at the Friday and Saturday evening planning sessions.
Trip Leader: Scoutmaster Brian Nichols, home phone 207-384-4597, at camp via cell phone, 603-767-5510
Misc. Info: Bring a bag supper for the Friday evening meal. We will be arriving at camp around 6:30PM, so it would be rather late to cook by the time we get camp set up.
You may choose to bring some extra money, as there is a convenience store a short walk from our camping area. An adult may take a group of boys to the store on Saturday.
Bring your personal gear and leave home the electronic equipment. Bring a notepad and some pens or pencils.
We have reserved Baden Powell cabin for the weekend. Swimming is also available, so bring a swimsuit & towel.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF MAKING OUR TROOP's PROGRAM A SUCCESS.
Please take this event seriously. The Scouts in your Patrol have elected you to lead them. Planning and training are important factors in leadership...don't let your fellow Scouts down.
Call Mr. Nichols with any questions that you may have.
The Permission Slip below must be completed by your Parent or Guardian and handed in prior to departure.
