Directions: Spring Hill Lodge, 117 Pond Rd, S. Berwick, ME. Driving south on Rte 4 about 5 miles past Rte 9, Pond Rd is on left just after Save On Fuel. Follow Pond Rd for 1.1 miles, Spring Hill Lodge is on left, up hill. If driving north thru South Berwick, go past The Links at Outlook golf course and the old farm with a silver silo, Pond Rd is on right.

Bring with you: A copy of current Med Forms for all Scouts & Scouters along with two copies of your Troop's roster (list of attendees with rank/position). District rules now require that the med forms be delivered in a manilla envelope with one copy of the roster taped to the outside. The envelopes will be filed with Medical personnel in the First Aid tent. The second roster is for Registration. If you do not meet the May 1st registration deadline, please also bring the completed registration form with you, along with registration & late fees. Carry in - Carry out! Please bring some heavy trash bags so you can remove all trash for disposal at home. (plan camping methods that minimize waste volume by avoiding disposable cups, plates, leaving excess packaging behind, etc.) Bring fire buckets.

Gateway Competition:Plan ahead to come up with the best gateway display showing Patriotic Spirit, Honoring our Soldiers, past & present, or other Military theme.

Donations for Active Troops Overseas: Please collect and bring any of the following items for distribution to local region's troops currently deployed: Phone cards (ATT only), Unscented baby wipes, Mach3 razor refills, Paper-Pen-Envelopes (no stamps needed), or Tang. Discuss this at your Troop Meetings, and if you're really undecided what to bring, phone cards are always a safe bet.

Please carpool - We have limited parking - Thank you. Plan on carrying your gear to the campsite, as there will be no access by vehicle. (The main camp is approx 100yds from the parking lot) The Staff will park you. No Parking is allowed on the Driveway as another function is being held Saturday morning in the lodge. After parking a unit Leader must proceed to the HeadQuarters tent with Med forms & roster, and receive their site assignment.

Radio Traffic - On arrival, the parking scouts will be using Channel 1 on the FRS band.  Any questions about where things are located start with this channel.  HQ will be using Channel 3 for the weekend.  Please keep your troops off this channel.  If you are trying to contact staff you may come on channel 3 and request help.  You will then be directed to another channel to keep this one clear of all non-staff chatter.

Set up your sites with tents along the outside of long sides, facing inward, to allow you easy access to & from your camp without cutting thru a neighbors site. All sites are required to have a gray-water sump bag, set up away from the tents and out of walking paths. (the sump is a burlap bag, lined with hay, suspended from a tripod, to filter your waste water from brushing, washing, cooking, etc.) Bring a large, heavy-duty plastic bag to secure it in for the ride home.

Drinking water will be from a public water supply and containers may be filled at any time from the faucets on the temporary water line.

Porta-potties will be available in the camping and activity areas. Please have respect for other Scouts & Scouters by keeping the toilets CLEAN.
Above-ground fires will be allowed on each site, as long as we are not under dry conditions.

Each Troop: Please plan to host an Armed Forces Guest for dinner, conversation and an overnight stay.
SPL and Scoutmasters Must ATTEND the Friday Night 9PM meeting at HEADQUARTERS for Camporee Handout Information.
